Vegas Baby Vegas

Vegas was fun as usual. It was nice to fly in for the first time. However, the flight there was anxiety provoking due to the turbulence. I HATE turbulence.

So, it was like 112 degrees outside and we didn't have a car, but we (Haeran and I) wanted to go to the mall. At first, we were going to take the bus, but realized that there weren't many bus stops. We ended up walking there. Thank goodness for the drink specials on the way.

The highlight of the trip, besides my five plates of crab legs and free drinks, was the joke-telling dealer at Casino Royale. One of his jokes was:

"When does Snoop Dog need an umbrella?"
"Fo drizzle."

The club at the Venetian, "Vivid," was better than I thought. The upside was that they played old school hip-hop like Bop Gun and Ditty. The downside was that there were no fine guys, just ugly/old faces.

We didn't have a ride home cause it was super early in the morning so we took the metro home (green line). I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and convenience of L.A.'s rare commodity. There's a free shuttle that takes you from the airport to the metro station and the fare is only $1.25 for a one-way ticket. I think that they go by the honor system because nobody checked to see if we had tickets. There were no bathrooms though so be sure to empty your bladder if you are going for a ride on the metro.
